PODCASTING AND RECORDING

Whilst being great at preventing noise from escaping the room, our studios are of course also excellent at keeping background noises out. Taking your studio into the garden instantly removes the need to worry about the noises from the house from ruining your recordings. On top of that, the soundproofing of our studios will then filter out most background noise, giving you a clean recording, without the wailing sound of children or bleeps of traffic.

The type of Sonic Box that you choose will depend on how often you are using it and whether you want it to be a flexible, multi-use space, or a dedicated podcasting/recording studio. If you are using the space primarily for recording, then the Sonic Box Pro or Lite models will likely suit you best. However, if you are primarily wanting to use the studio as an office or living space, then the Sonic Box Leisure model may suit you better.

If you wish to take your voice recording to the next level, you may want to opt for a sound booth. This is a small room within your studio that is treated to provide the best possible acoustic properties for your recordings.

Once your Sonic Box Studio is constructed, we recommend that all our dedicated recording studios are installed with the appropriate acoustic treatment. Acoustic treatments include items such as foam wall and ceiling tiles, diffuser panels, bass traps, isolation pads and heavy curtains. Applying the correct acoustic treatments to your room will ensure that your music or voice can be heard correctly, without sound reflections or vibrations effecting the quality.
